With four weeks off from work, we thought long and hard about where to travel that would be warm, not in the middle of the rainy season and not ridiculously expensive. We landed on India, a place we had long wanted to explore but had eluded us so far. The country is enormous, so we couldn't visit every region on the tourist trail. After much discussion, we narrowed our itinerary down the to the northern region: Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Although we were also keen to tour the south and the Himalayan regions, they would have to wait for another time. In the end, our decision was perfect. We loved almost every minute of our time in India, which only whetted our appetite for further Indian adventures.
